This Meetup is for those who are looking for a spiritual community of people to fellowship with on a regular basis and establishing new friendships. As we move into the new energies of 2012 and beyond, we are being called to do a lot of releasing and integrating of the old patterns, our ego, and shadow shelves. This group is about meeting with like minded people and sharing ourselves and gifts with each other in a safe and supportive environment. Please join us for monthly gatherings. …

I ran an 8K recently, and my pace was 13 minutes! Awesome! Now I want to push myself to make it to 12 minute mile. I need help to motivate myself to run regularly. Are you in the SE area and you need a running partner? Are you kind of slow and feel like you will be left in the dust of the "real" runner groups? Can you run 12 minute mile, or slower than or faster than and want to be challenged? ME TOO! I don't know why there are ever running groups of people that are losing weight and trying to g …

I started this group because I wanted to play boardgames on Wednesday nights in SE Portland. Since you don't need to RSVP, the number of players on a given night will vary. It's more of a free-form, do-what-you-want event than a reservation-style one. Don't be fooled by our classiness! We play it all; Euros, casual games, classic games, etc. Bring some games, have fun and say hi to each other!
I have found a great way to meet people is to enjoy activities together. Ping Pong is a great way for competitive active people to find each other. To network businesses, find social partners, or just to let off some steam and have some fun! I have a bar and restaurant in SE Portland with great food, full bar, kid friendly that happens to have a Ping Pong Table. You should join if you are an active adult with any level of Ping Pong experience.

I wanted to start up a leisurely bike riding group, around 10-12 mph pace that starts in the mid-afternoon, for those who aren't early risers. Helments are opptional; I don't wear one. All rides will start and finish on Portland's eastside. This is not a gung-ho riding group like the Wheelmen. You can show up in jeans and a t-shirt and you will fit right in! I do not consider myself the 'leader' per se; just an organizer. Group input is welcome too; to suggest an area that you would like to ride …

What? Really underwater hockey? Underwater Hockey is a fast-paced, fun-filled sport for athletes of all ages. Unlike its on-ice counterpart, underwater hockey is a non-contact sport.
